  • NDDA Local Foods  Agriculture is North Dakota’s leading industry. With that in mind, it’s easy to understand why there are many people and groups involved with our local foods. The ND Dept of Agriculture has driven the local foods movement since August 2008, with great support and partnership from farmers markets, Farm to School initiatives, specialty crop groups, and numerous rural communities.

  • NDDA Local Foods Map  -The Local Foods Map is an online search tool that connects consumers with local farmers, ranchers and businesses that grow, produce and sell their own products in North Dakota.

  • NDDA Farm to School  - Farm to school enriches the connection communities have with fresh, healthy food and local food producers by changing food purchasing and education practices at schools and early care and education sites.

  • Pride of Dakota - Pride of Dakota is a marketing and business development program administered by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture. Established in 1985, its primary goal is to help local entrepreneurs promote and expand their North Dakota-made products and services

  • ND Farmers Market and Growers Association (NDGMGA) is a statewide nonprofit marketing organization dedicated to supporting local farmers, growers, and farmers markets across North Dakota. It focuses on improving marketing skills for producers and increasing consumer awareness of locally grown products.

  • NDSU Agriculture Hub - A one-stop source for information and tools from the NDSU Agricultural Experiment Station and NDSU Extension to help farmers and ranchers make informed decisions that positively impact their business

  • Foundation for Agricultural and Rural Resource Management and Sustainability - (FARRMS) is a nonprofit organization that has been growing a community of local food producers and empowering North Dakota farmers to create sustainable, profitable enterprises. It primarily serves aspiring and established farmers by providing education, mentorship, and financial resources.
